Aroma

On the nose you'll discover a decadent aroma that captures all the nuance and input from its four cask types. The red wine casks in particular deliver berry fruit, orchard apple and oak spice.

Palate

On the taste you'll find the sherry casks also hold their own, bringing lots of dark fruit, cocoa, and vanilla from the virgin oak casks. The bourbon barrels make their presence felt through the addition of smoked pine nut and caramalised pear.

Finish

All of this is wrapped up in a peaty, smoky whisky finish that is immediately accessible but still rich, vibrant and memorable. The tangy red fruits blend effortlessly with citrus peel making the cask combination for its twenty-one years a surefire hit.
