Woodford Reserve Distillery

The atmospheric buildings of the Woodford Reserve Distillery are nestled amongst the trees outside in the town of Versailles Kentucky. It is designated a National Historic Landmark and many of its old stone buildings would not look out of place in Speyside. Just as certain Scottish distilleries led the way in experimental barrel finishing, Woodford have been in the front line of finding ways to create distinctive premium American whiskey. Newer brands such as Master’s Selection and Baccarat Edition are leading the way in defining the heights the company is aiming for.
