The GlenAllachie is one of Scotland’s few independently owned and managed distilleries led by industry veteran Billy Walker who boasts an astonishing 50-year tenure in whisky and blending. The Speyside-based distillery places the focus firmly on quality over quantity in everything that they do, reducing their production capacity by over 80% to allow for greater supervision of the maturation process, and spending over £2 million annually on the finest and rarest of casks.

Additionally, they believe age and integrity matter, which is why all of their whiskies carry an age statement and are bottled at a minimum alcohol strength of 46% ABV, natural colour and non chill filtered for maximum flavour experience.

Since reviving The GlenAllachie Distillery, Master Distiller Billy Walker has spent endless hours carefully analysing and monitoring the spirit within each and every cask slowly maturing in our 16 on-site warehouses. Once he determines that the spirit has met the perfect balance between wood and distillery influence, Billy proudly puts his name to every single bottle of GlenAllachie sold across the globe
