Tennessee

This type of American whiskey must be made in the state of Tennessee with a mash bill of at least 51% corn. After distillation comes the process that makes this whiskey type stand out. The Lincoln County Process is where the distillate is dripped through charcoal derived from maple trees. This removes certain impurities and mellows the spirit. Lastly the whiskey is matured in new charred oak barrels.
