Linkwood Distillery

Local wildlife inhabits the waters around Linkwood distillery, revelling in the peaceful setting. All the while barrels rest in warehouses becoming the beautifully complex whisky we know today.

Originally built in 1821 the distillery had a varied history, from increasing production due to higher demand, to extensive refurbishment and even to periods of being mothballed due to an industry downturn. Today Linkwood stands as a truly resilient Speyside distillery.

With most of the production of Linkwood going towards blends, it is becoming harder to find the gems that truly show just what this atmospheric distillery can produce.
