From Gordon and MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice range comes a cask strength Mortlach. Bringing out all the best the Beast of Dufftown has to offer. Distilled in 1988, it was matured exclusively in single refill American hogshead for 33 years before being bottled in 2021. Limited to 213 bottles.
Nose: Fruity, sugary notes, including apple, grapefruit and watermelon.
Palate: The citrus sugar notes come through along with a hint of spice.
Finish: Medium-bodied with citrus and subtle spice.
A wonderfully lavish whisky, limited in quantities and incredible value for money.
