Elegant wood notes herald its deep fruity character and wonderful spice and sweetness. There’s a hint of wood smoke in this award-winning malt also, as the toasted oak allows grapefruit aromas fuse with green fruits.

Tasting notes
Aroma
On the nose you can expect to find blackcurrant jam, dried tea and tobacco leaf. There’s a lingering peat here too that transports the imagination to a cigar box and a soft medicinal peatiness.
Palate
On the taste however the mature oak has delivered a wonderful sweetness to the Loch Lomond 18-year-old that carries lots of fruit flavours including apple and gooseberry.
Finish
This elegant single malt scotch has a delicious finish that continues the combination of spice and fruit with rich honeyed notes filling the throat.
The mature oak character of this whisky ensures it’s a fan favourite and has enabled it to win awards from the Scotch Whisky Masters, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the International Spirits Challenge.
