Green Spot 100th Anniversary 10 YO

To celebrate 100 years since the launch of Green Spot Single Pot still Irish Whiskey, Mitchell & Sons releases this limited edition 10-year-old bottling. The name comes from the colours of paint the founder, Mitchell & Sons, used to mark the age of each cask. As a nod to the original Green Spot, this limited edition revives the 10-year-old age statement, matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. The nose offers floral honey, coffee cake, toffee, orchard fruits, and warming spices. On the palate, notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and dried fruits intertwine with sweet apple crumble and barley richness, leading to a long, lingering finish of pot still spice and orchard fruit.
