An aged single grain Lowland whisky. The nose is redolent with barley sugar, lightly burnt butterscotch, honey and cereals. The palate is as sweet as expected, with red fruit jam plus later mixed spices. Catch vanilla custard on the finish, with maple syrup, double cream and a late gristy quality.
