The Bushmills 46 year old is the oldest Irish single malt ever released from the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery. This impossibly rare Irish whiskey has been aged exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks. With a magnificent deep mahogany hue, the nose is a harmonious blend of dark fruits, apricot, and warm oak. The rich, spicy palate unfolds with cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg, giving way to sweet black cherries, baked plums, and roasted coffee.
This exceptional whiskey is held in a handcrafted hexagonal walnut case, with the gold central engraving reflecting the journey of the River Bush to the Old Bushmills Distillery.
Glen from The Single Malt Shop. “We continually strive to bring our customers the finest in Irish whiskey, so for us to showcase the oldest ever Irish Single Malt is something we are very proud of”
