Great Whisky Festivals 2026: where will you raise a dram this year?

spirit of speyside whisky festival

The year is kicking off with a world of whisky festivals, and the party continues almost every month of the year

Whisk(e)y fans love a good festival, and luckily, there is plenty of choice out there. Each year brings new events and multi-day whisky experiences to enjoy, bringing us closer to our favourite pours and the people who make them.

Here’s our month-by-month guide to the whiskey festival circuit in Ireland, Scotland, Europe and beyond. It’s our wishlist of where we’d like to be this year. (If we’ve missed your favourite event, then let us know in the comments below.)

Brilliant roundup—this really shows how packed the whisky calendar has become. From Speyside and Islay in spring to Amsterdam, Delft, and Prague later in the year, it’s almost impossible to choose just one. I like how this mixes the big headline festivals with some of the more relaxed, local events too. Definitely bookmarking this as a planning guide (and an excuse) for the year ahead. Slàinte to busy weekends and empty sample bottles!
